在国际贸易中，“使馆认证”是商业认证中的一种。由于它可以对进口商品的产地、价格、担*保等方面进行限制，加之认证所需时间相对较长，费用较高，近年来，越来越多地被一些国家用作限制进口的非关税贸易壁垒措施。如科威特、南韩、阿根廷、土耳其、埃及、沙特等国规定：凡进口货物必须出具经“使馆认证”的一般原产地证/书,货物方能通关。

In international trade, "embassy certification" is one of the commercial certifications. In recent years, it has been increasingly used by some countries as a non-tariff trade barrier measure to restrict imports, because it can restrict the origin, price, guarantee and other aspects of imported goods, as well as the relatively long time and high cost of certification. For example, Kuwait, South Korea, Argentina, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other countries stipulate that all imported goods can only be cleared through customs if the general certificate of origin/document certified by the Embassy is presented.
