1、领事认证的概念：

领事认证是指我国外交机构和/或外国驻我国使领馆在涉外文件上确认我国公证、认证机关或某些特殊机关的签字或印章属实。经过认证的文件具有境外法律效力，为文件使用国有关当局所承认。

2、领事认证的目的：

使一国出具的公证书或有关文书能在另一国境内被有关当局所承认且具有法律效力，不致因怀疑文书上的签名或印章是否属实而影响文书的法律效力。

3、领事认证的受理范围

个人民事文件：如亲属关系，出生，结婚，委托书等文件。

商业文件：如工作证明，公司营业执照等商业性的文件。

1. Concept of consular certification:

Consular certification means that Chinese diplomatic agencies and/or foreign embassies and consulates in China confirm the authenticity of the signatures or seals of Chinese notarization, certification authorities or some special authorities on foreign documents. The authenticated document shall have the legal effect outside China and shall be recognized by the relevant authorities of the country using the document.

2. Purpose of consular certification:

So that the notarial certificate or related instrument issued by one country can be recognized by the relevant authorities in another country and have legal effect, without the doubt of the authenticity of the signature or seal on the instrument affecting the legal effect of the instrument.

3. Acceptance scope of consular authentication

Personal civil documents: such as kinship, birth, marriage, power of attorney, etc.

Business documents: business documents, such as job certificates, business licenses, etc.
