中国驻外使领馆可以提供哪些方面的领事协助与保护？

　　答：有九个方面： 

　　（一）可以推荐律师、翻译和医生，以帮助进行诉讼或寻求医疗救助。 

　　（二）可以在所在国发生重大突发事件时，为提供撤离危险地区提供咨询和必要协助。 

　　（三）可以在被拘留、逮捕或服刑时，根据当事人请求进行探视。 

　　（四）可以在遭遇意外时，协助当事人将事故或损伤情况通知国内亲属。 

　　（五）协助与国内亲属联系，解决生计困难时所需费用。 

　　（六）协助寻亲。 

　　（七）可以根据中华人民共和国有关法律和法规为在国外合法居留的中国公民颁发、换发、补发旅行证件及对旅行证件上的相关资料办理加注。 

　　（八）可以为遗失旅行证件或无证件的中国公民签发旅行证或回国证明。 

　　（九）可以根据中华人民共和国有关法律、法规和相关国际条约为中国公民办理有关文件的公证、认证；在与所在国的法律规章不相抵触的情况下办理中国公民的婚姻登记手续。（注：不能直接认证中国国内公证机关出具的公证书，也不能为中国国内有关机关出具的其他证书或文书办理公证。）

What kind of consular assistance and protection can Chinese embassies and consulates provide?

A: There are nine aspects:

(5) To assist in communicating with relatives in the country and meeting the expenses incurred in the event of difficulties in livelihood.

(6) Assist in tracing relatives.

(7) It may, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, issue, change or reissue travel documents to Chinese citizens lawfully residing abroad and annotate the relevant information on the travel documents.

(8) It may issue travel permits or certificates of return to China for Chinese citizens who have lost or have no travel documents.

(9) it may notarize and authenticate relevant documents for Chinese citizens in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and relevant international treaties; To handle the marriage registration formalities of Chinese citizens as long as it does not conflict with the laws and regulations of the host country. (Note: Notarial certificates issued by notarial offices in China cannot be directly certified, nor can other certificates or documents issued by relevant authorities in China be notarized.)
