Established on May 22, 1989, China Chamber of Commerce for The Import and Export of Medical and health products (hereinafter referred to as "Chamber of Commerce for Medical Insurance") is a national, industrial and non-profit social organization voluntarily constituted by various economic organizations engaged in the research and development, production, trade, investment and related activities of medical and health products.
医保商会业务范围涵盖中药材饮片、中成药、植物提取物、西药原料、西成药、生物制药、医院诊断和治疗设备、保健康复器材、医用敷料与耗材、保健品、功能性化妆品、特医食品等诸多领域。现有会员2500余家，囊括国内外众多颇具代表性和影响力的医药保健品企业。具有专业的国际医药贸易和投资促进职能，是沟通政府与企业，联系国内外市场，推动中国医药健康产业国际化发展的专业行业组织。
The business scope of the Medical insurance Chamber of Commerce covers many fields, such as Chinese medicinal materials decoction pieces, Chinese patent medicine, plant extract, western medicine raw materials, western patent medicine, biopharmaceutical, hospital diagnosis and treatment equipment, health rehabilitation equipment, medical dressings and consumables, health care products, functional cosmetics, special medical food and so on. There are more than 2500 members, including many representative and influential pharmaceutical and health products enterprises at home and abroad. With professional international pharmaceutical trade and investment promotion functions, it is a professional industry organization to communicate with the government and enterprises, contact the domestic and foreign markets, and promote the international development of China's pharmaceutical and health industry.
