外交部认证也就是我们常说的单认证。

所谓“单认证”是指我国内地有关机构（公证处）出具的涉外公证书或其他证明文书在送往国外使用前只需办理我国外交部领事司或其委托的地方外办的领事认证，文书使用国即可接受该文书。

比如去邀请父母去德国需要办理德国短期探亲签证，这里就需要办理一份亲属关系的公证，然后只做外交部认证就可以。一般短期的签证基本上都是办理单认证就可以使用!Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation is what we often say namely sheet attestation. 那什么是领事认证呢？

领事认证也就是双认证，双认证指办理中国外交部认证以及目的国使馆双重认证。我国内地有关机构出具的涉外公证书或其他证明文书在送国外使用前，办理好我国外交部领事司或其委托的地方外办的领事认证后，还需按文书使用国要求办理该国驻华使领馆的领事认证，方可被文书使用国接受。领事认证的目的是使一国出具的文书能在其他国家境内得以承认，不会因怀疑文书上的印鉴、签名的真实性而影响其域外法律效力。

注意：相关机构出具的涉外文书需经外交部认证之后，然后方可到目的国驻华领馆办理领事认证。认证可委托他人办理。具体操作办法请关注公众号无忧三人行！

常见的需要办理双认证的民事类文书有：出生、结婚、亲属关系、委托书、声明书、学历、无犯罪等等；所有的长期类签证像留学，家庭团聚，工作等一般都需要办理双认证。

商事类文书有：营业执照、在职证明、授权委托等等。
