If a company wants to guarantee the functional quality of a product to its customers, the company needs to obtain a self-declared quality check mark.

这个检测标志证明该产品将在很长一段时间内达到安全性和功能方面的要求。有时候，一些产品可能符合欧洲指令的要求，便很容易使这些产品达到CE认证的要求。

This test mark demonstrates that the product will meet safety and functional requirements over a long period of time. In some cases, products that may meet the requirements of the European directive can easily be CE certified.

  一些指令使用质量管理体系（ISO9000）作为确认评估的一部分。只有在特殊的情况下， CE认证指令才把符合ISO9000认证作为一种要求。

Some directives use the quality management system (ISO9000) as part of the validation assessment. Only in exceptional circumstances will the CE directive make compliance with ISO9000 certification a requirement.

The loss was caused by defective management within the company. This quality system does not provide a reference to product quality, but only shows customers that their requirements can be correctly and timely implemented. In contrast to the quality system, the CE certification merely indicates that the product meets the requirements related to safety, health, environment and customer protection.
