外交部领事司公布的领事认证时限是工作日，不是自然日。驻华使（领）馆一般会在中外方节假日、重要团组来华、有关人员换岗、避暑等临时原因闭馆，认证时限自然会顺延。当然，也有些使馆因某种原因突击加班签证，签证时间就自然提前了，不过，这种情况不多。保险的还是尽量提前申请办理领事认证工作，以免误时误事。
