 领事保护能力持续升级

　　按照“预防为先”的领事保护思路，外交部联合电信服务商向出境中国公民免费发送安全提醒、文明旅游提醒短信，还通过外交部官网、中国领事服务网、官方微博、微信等平台发布服务信息。以微信为例，只需在通讯录中添加“领事直通车”或“LS12308”，即可享受“领事信息上门服务”。目前“领事直通车”订阅人数已超过10万。为妥善应对中国公民在海外遇险情况，外交部又推新举措：全球领事保护应急呼叫中心将在年内建成，实现中国公民走到哪里，领事保护与服务就跟随到哪里。

Consular protection capabilities continue to be upgraded

In line with the "prevention first" approach to consular protection, the ministry of foreign affairs has joined hands with telecom service providers to send free safety alerts and civilized travel alerts to Chinese citizens leaving the country. They have also released service information through the ministry of foreign affairs' official website, China consular service website, official weibo and WeChat platforms. Take WeChat for example. Just add "consular through train" or "LS12308" to your address book, and you can enjoy "consular information home service". The number of subscribers to the "Consular train" has now exceeded 100,000. In response to Chinese nationals in distress overseas, the Foreign Ministry has taken a new measure: the global consular protection emergency call center will be established within this year, so that consular protection and services will follow Chinese citizens wherever they go.
