双认证, 是指在办妥我国外交部领事司或有关省、自治区、市的外事办公室的认证手续后, 再办理公证书的使用国驻华使(领)馆的认证。这种办理两个认证的作法, 通常称为双认证 。

Single certification means the last page of the notarial certificate affixed with the seal of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the foreign affairs office of the relevant province, autonomous region or city.

Dual certification means that after completing the certification procedures of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the foreign affairs office of the relevant province, autonomous region or city, the notarial certificate shall be certified by the embassy (consulate) of the State in China. This process of handling two certifications is usually called double certifications.
