它是由一人向另一人签发的要求在见票时或在指定的或可以确定的将来时间向特定的人或其持票人无条件支持一定金额的书面命令。

在缮制汇票时应注意以下几个问题：

(1)必须列明出标根据，在信用证收付方式下，须说明是根据哪家银行在何日开立的哪一份信用证出具的。
